I'm Dana. I'm a copywriter, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend. Not necessarily in that order, but that's me.
What I do
I introduce people to ideas and solutions that can help them get what they want. I do that by creating gripping, conversion-driven content that speaks to people and makes them feel noticed and understood.
Why I do it
Having been a writer for as far back as I can remember, I was always looking for ways to tell my stories so that people would listen. I tried humor, drama, everything, even special effects, but I learned early on that while different people like different things, we all have one thing in common: we're all looking for something we can relate to. It can be a person, an idea, or even a dream, but it’s when people can see themselves in a situation you’re describing that always wins them over and keeps them coming back for more.
It was quite a journey, but once I figured out how to identify that relatable element in any type of content, I thought I might share it with everyone else. After all, we all have to communicate our brands and businesses to the world, and nothing gets through to people better than a good story.
And here's how
I listen. I listen to what my clients say and what they don’t say. I listen to what they want, what their hardships and challenges are. I listen to their target audiences and their wants and needs. Then I draw my special toolbox and choose from an abundance of tools and methodologies like content marketing, copywriting, UX writing, content and language design, and employ them to the benefit of my clients.
